Pestizide Testing
Pesticides are the environmental pollutant harming to human health, which can be found stability in air, water and soil.
Textile contains pesticides because of using pesticides in raw material. In agriculture pesticides are used for the growth of cotton, and in animal husbandry pesticides are also being used to control louse and fly. The process of producing textile can discard most of pesticides which in the raw material, however textile still contains pesticides.
OEKO-TEX Standard 100(2009) limits the concentration to 0.5 ppm for total pesticides in textile of baby and to 1.0 ppm for other textile. The list of 60 pesticides being limited are given as below:
